A place where a lot of my family has frequented. Advanced scouts in a VW bus of all things showed up when my late grandfather was fishing. One of them gave him a "hug". My imagination still finds that hilarious (legit pioneer/cowboy/badass).

They did trash the place to an epic scale though, and the local crimes were outrageous. Shitshow is quite literally on the mark. Pretty much took the place off the map for quite awhile, and then last year (or two years?) the heavy fires up in there kind of continued that problem.
