So did you dress them right away? if you do not dress it will turn the meat.
Did you get them up high on the hill or down in the valleys. been out hunting for them this year and because the lack of water the ones up on the hill are not looking so good and are easy to find, the ones down in the valley nice and fat and are playing hard to get.
