Default The Hunt Gods have been Haters...

So after taking a 3 year hiatus from hunting after moving to Colorado due to work, 2012 was going to be my triumphant return to what I love most, other than my wife and kids of course. So far this has become the year of FU, I was lucky enough to be invited to an awesome prairie dog hunt and ended up blowing my knee right before it which put me out of commission. Then my 4th rifle season came and went thanks to the flu.. Now my buddy asked me to go hunt speed goats with him and I just looked and there are some left over tags.. However after this year's luck I'm thinking I'm better off to not even bother haha.... Time to go pray to the hunting gods by ordering some stuff from Cabelas and look for a new antelope rifle!!

Maybe you need better hunting buddies. Mine would throw me in a wheel chair in the back of the truck and take me p-dog hunting... and the flu? We all came down with swine flu a few years back when it was going around, got my first buck that year. However, I did sleep for a day and half straight in camp. Getting sick is an excuse to skip work, not hunting. Go get you a speed goat! Good luck!

^^^ This, too hot, too dry, and Elk were not in rut in my area for archery.

You should definitely go antelope hunting.
