    I have a Ka-Bar and it's the sh*t! I love that knife- and it added a bit of intimidation factor while working among locals while I was in Afghanistan.

    KA-BAR.

    yes, as a former Marine, I'm prejudiced. But the balance and feel can't be beat (for me - I know it's a personal choice). If you want to check one out, let me know.

    Try the Gerber LMF II, the Ontario OKC3S, or the classic KA-BAR. I have all three, love all three, they are all kinda similar but still different enough.
