My two cents. The new site will grow on ya real quick. Just like everything else sometimes change is good and sometimes it can be a real pain. I like the new site very much and I do understand the issues we were having with the old legacy site.
I take it you have no dealings with the medical side of IT. I am still finding fun things to do with my time as we replace XP with 7. Many companies are very slow to update programs and this makes living with Doctors interesting at best. I have one new guy that we just hired from HP that is very good and has been a tremendous help on the pure IT side. He has admitted that the many Obstacle's that I have faced over the 30 years doing medical/IT leave him shaking his head but such is the nature of the beast.Sorry us IT guys dont cry about upgrades. We get it done any move on. Talk shit all you want, the world moves forward and time marches on, etc, etc..
Sure ya can.Do you still try and drive a Packard around on the streets even though you can't find parts for it anymore?ya just got to know where to look.

I think the best thing would be to play with the new place as much as possible and in a very short time it will seem like the old comfy pair of shoes that was the old site (even though "J's" feet were getting wet every time he tried to walk in the old ones) So now he can take a stroll in dry shoes and be happy because that was the reality of the old place, worn out.
I hope I have not offended anyone with my comments.![]()
