Looking for work doing just about anything. I have a degree in gunsmithing that is going to waist. I know lathes, mills, horses, dogs. Any suggestions? Anybody?
Anyone who knows of any IT openings, please let me know.
Thanks.
My father has been looking for a job since April. He has an incredible resume for anybody hiring in management/operations/HR. Let me know if you guys see anything out there that looks promising. Thanks.
Ben
MillerCoors is always hiring locally & nationally (and internationally via parents SABMiller & Molsen Coors). Visit/revisit http://www.millercoors.com/careers.aspx to search opportunities.
Note re: IT positions, MillerCoors hires no entry-level, "broad, deep & proven" expertise / experience is an absolute. You must have substantial IT industry tenure for consideration.

I happen to have a little inside info for any electricians looking for construction work.
West Electric Group will be hiring soon. How soon I do not know. What number of openings (apprentices 1st year -4th, Journeyman) I don't know. They have landed some big multi-year projects in metro Denver and will need decent folks willing to sweat.
They have both Denver and Colorado Springs offices. Check their web site for any further info.
Good luck!

Well, I'll give it a shot:
I work in a Denver food import company.
I am the service dept. manager.
We sell, service and repair coffee brewers, iced tea brewers, espresso machines.
We are looking for a service tech, maybe two.
You must know some electrics, some plumbings, be mechanically inclined.
You will be traveling across Colorado on our service vans (good DMV record is a must).
You must be able to lift 150 pounds, pass a drug test and a 10 years FBI background check (we also work at DIA).
You will receive up to 90 days training with a pay of $14/hr.
After that you'll get a base pay of $12.50/hr + commissions on the service calls you complete succesfully.
We have A LOT of service calls.
Job security is not an issue for the right person.
We have health insurance, dental, 401k,profit sharing, paid vacations (up to 3 weeks after 5 yrs of continued employment).
There it is,cut and dry.
Tell me what you can do, honestly.
You will be tested on a few technical questions.
PM if interested.
