Title: System Administrator – Level II-III
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Infrastructure Manager, Information Technology
Position Summary:
The System Administrator-II will act as primary Citrix administrator as well as participate in general administrative duties of the Active Directory domain including but not limited to Exchange management, user management, server management, storage management and vm management.
Job Duties:
  • Monitor servers, network, and system performance
  • Maintain existing Citrix farms including application deployments and troubleshooting
  • Design future application delivery infrastructures
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage vendor deliverables
  • Adhere to and enforce all WPC security policies
  • Assist with department technology planning
  • Assist with Sar-Box auditing
  • Assist with departmental Capacity and Disaster Recovery planning
  • Manage Citrix Farm deployments and design upgrade paths
  • Day to Day Active Directory management
Accountabilities:
  • Prompt response to system outages or service problems
  • Change control processes are followed according to WPC standards
  • Security issues are resolved and documented
  • Projects are planned, documented, and approved
  • Projects are completed on time and meet all requirements
  • Create and update the documentation of all technical infrastructure
  • Attend required meetings and training

Qualifications:
  • Citrix 4.5 Farm Administration
  • XenServer Farm design
  • Microsoft Terminal Server 2003 and 2008
  • High Availability design concepts including load balancers
  • Application deployment strategies in the enterprise
  • General Microsoft Domain administration
  • Proficient communication skills at all levels
  • Proficient project planning and time management skills
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems and scripting
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and readily
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as on an individual, unsupervised basis
  • Physically able to perform all duties
