    Part-time position available downtown. This would be 20-30 hours a week, flexible on the hours. Might be the perfect thing for a student or a parent returning to the work force. I am thinking a vet who is in school and needs side job with some exposure to IT. This is planned to be a 3-6 month contract but could go longer.     Description


    The role of the Technical Process Documentation Specialist is to document and diagram application systems, standard operating procedures, and general processes. The specialist will interact with various departments to develop an understanding of each application or process used by the Whiting Infrastructure team. Once the specialist has gathered data for a particular system or process, that person shall create a coherent document in a consistent format that contains all necessary design diagrams, work flows and descriptive text.

    Responsibilities


    · Conduct research about IT systems
    · Create workflow and process diagrams
    · Prepare standard operating procedures
    · Document existing IT processes, procedures and applications

    Position Requirements


    · Basic understanding of technical systems.
    · Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    · Outstanding documentation skills.
    · Able to conduct research as required.
    · Highly self-motivated and directed.
    · Keen attention to detail.
    · Proven analytical abilities.
    · Strong customer service orientation.
    · Excellent understanding of MS Visio, MS Word, MS Project

    Bump, I need this filled soon, there must be a vet studying IT at Metro that wants some experience or a wife returning to the work force but still doing the kids to school thing.
