Default Value of Camillus M3 knife and advice on where to sell

I have a genuine (as far as I can tell) Camillus M3 knife and scabbord. Jawbone was over here the other day and spotted it. From what he said, it's collectible and maybe valuable. It has no sentimental value to me, so I'd just as soon turn it into money or trade it for a useful knife (some kind of hard-use folder). I hate collectible things because I feel funny about using something and possibly decreasing its value.

I know exactly zip about knives. Does anyone know what this thing might be worth and the best place to try to sell/trade it?

Post it up here in the "for sale" section and see what happens. You never know. Or shoot alxone a PM and see if he is interested.

Don't accept anything under $26 + shipping and you'll make out okay.

Sorry, I know less about knives than you do.

I'd love to buy it, but I don't know what a fair price is for it. All I know is that's what the M1 Carbine bayonets evolved from. Research, I must.

I meant my comment to be tongue- in- cheek. Should have used a smiley.
