South site or Pawnee??

I'm thinking about going out on Friday. I've never been to either the south site or Pawnee (moved here this summer).. I live in Stapleton and I'm wondering what would be better? Closer? I thought about the cherry creek place but i dont want to pay $30 and I've heard mixed reviews. I have two new builds I want to try out and another rifle I plan to do some shooting out to 300yds. Any suggestions on where to go would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I dont have any experience with the south site so I cant help you there but I do like Pawnee. It is about 1 1/2 hours from Denver, I'm near Stapleton too. You can definitely get 300 yards at Pawnee. Depending on when you are going I might be able to tag along. I know I have to work at least have a day that day so it might not work but maybe, or maybe another time

I have two rifles I want to sight in as well and might be "sick" friday from work. I have a park pass and we can carpool in CC. I don't have a spotting scope so CC is better for me plus it's not a 1.5 he drive out.

I have never been to the south site either.

Pawnee is my vote. Lots of room to move around, and lots of room for distance.

You're not going to be able to get out to 300 yds at the south site.
