gander mountain isn't bad for ammo, but the staff there is so lame. My girlfriend is an experienced shooter and we went in there because she wanted to look at a benelli, and they treated her like she was stupid. To top it off they lied to her to cover their tracks when they got caught with their pants down on a question. The staff is just lame

    Freakin worthless.

Their reloading section is down to 1 of those half aisles they have in front of the gun counter. Only 3 presses, and hardware is damn near impossible to find.

Couldn't find a shell holder for .223, they have dies for things like .22 Hornet and .25 Auto, but no .223 or .308 dies to be seen.

Gun prices are even more outrageous than they used to be (GSG-1911 for over $400, compared to $300 and change from Protekt) and more bullcrap.

    Never going back there again.

I've had problem after problem with Gander Mtn. And they stock very little for reloaders or people who like to clean their guns. On two occasions I went down there for nothing on bad info from the salesmen in the gun section. Most recently I went there with a list of things a friend gave me for breaking in and cleaning my new Rem 700. They didn't even have ONE single thing on my list. SW had each and every item. Prices are always higher at GM too.

As Trump would say "I have to say, GM . . . you're fired."

    Default Gander Mountain

The proof of current address to purchase a firearm is a state requirement NOT a Gander Mountain requirement. Gander Mountain price matches ANY and ALL retail prices on anything in the store including firearms.

Sorry, calling BS on the price matching. I went to SW, GM, and called Jensens to see if they would price match on an XDm 9mm. SW wouldn't do it, GM wouldn't do it, and Jensens told that me Neve's must have been selling a stolen firearm to offer them for theprice they were. GM was by far the worst, they were asking $699 for the XDm!! Over $100 from anywhere else. Almost $200 over what Neve's was selling them for. The guy at GM told me they would only price match if was around $20-$30 difference. I won't buy a damn thing from GM.

price matching is a bullshit policy.
what it really says is "oh, we were going to fuck you on our pricing but this one time we'll reduce it just for you"
