This model came with an A.R.M.S.#40L rear flip sight which so far seems adequate but I'm still debating with my self about an optic.I have narrowed it down to either an Eotech 312 or for some magnification(which seems to be getting to be an issue for these aging eyes) a Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T. Looked at the Mark4 at a Tanner gun show awhile back and was impressed with it. Let me know if I can be of any more help with your decision and also if you need a good dealer to go through.

I bought a Stag 2L (left handed version) about a year ago and have probably 1000 rounds through it. I chose it because if I was going to spend almost $1k I wanted something that would fit me and not give me powder burns on my face. I was wondering when I bought it if it was an off brand but since then, I have learned that Stag manufactures components for a lot of the other name manufacturers. The fit, finish and quality are excellent and as far as accuracy goes, is shoots as well as I can see. I am looking for a good scope because like StagLefty my eyes are not what they used to be. The only issue I have had with it is was when I first started shooting it, I had some jamming problems. It was not the rifles fault, I bought some re-loaded ammo at a gun show and after inspecting it and discarding the rounds with damaged cases I have not had a jam since.
