Default Knights Armament SR-25 (Go with carbine or rifle)? local shop has used 16 and new 20 inch guns.

So one of the local crack dealers has a Knights SR-25 16 inch carbine and a 20 inch rifle. Knights Armament website has been down all day so I can not go there for info. If it were you which way would you go. Carbine or rifle?

The Carbine is used and is old enough to not have the ambi bolt release but that is not all that important since Im right handed. But I can not tell how old the rifle is since I do not know when the ambi bolt release controls started.

So my dilemma is a 16 inch used carbine or a 20 inch new rifle. I can not make up my mind.

I do not have $10,000 though given the funds I would. I just want to know more about the carbine and its feature set, or issues based on age before I shell out the cash either way.

I thought knights .308 uppers were difficult if not impossible to come by.

Off topic, but the S&W site for M&P pistols has been down all day too.

I bet there are some uppers around Titusville FL. Helluva drive but the Space Coast is lovely this time of year! You might even see an alligator...
