    Default Pawnee National Grasslands

Any of you all make the trip up to Pawnee Grasslands to shot Pdogs? From what I managed to scare up online there are several large towns in the area. My dad is coming out to the Springs area in late June and is really wanting to try it out. Would it be worth the trip?

Wish I could help you, but the only thing I have hunted there, was antelope.

Season won't open until like June 15. I'm looking at heading out around the 26th or so.

It's going to be hard to find a town considering how shot up the area is. If you do find a town, good luck, they're going to be smart.

I managed to come across some GPS data for a few locations so I'm not all that concerned about finding them. I'm sure you are right about them being pretty shot up though. Unfortunately it is the best lead I have at this point. I've still got some time so we will see if I come across something else. I wish I had the time to wander and get in touch with some land owners but I don't. I'm kinda at the mercy of what I can dig up.

Get a good property map that clearly shows the property boundaries.

I ordered the map for the area so I can make sure I'm not going to end up some place I shouldn't be. If I do manage to make it out there I'll make sure to let you all know how things look.

Google earth the property and use the satalite maps to find the towns not on the beaten path. You can see colonies pretty easily when you zoom in.
