    Military Style

    DESCRIPTION

    Green micarta handle material available upon request. Stainless steel blade, sawteeth, forward curved hilt, nickel silver hilt, name etching and name plate are available at additional charge. Extra heavy 7/8″ wide tang runs through channel handle, which is firmly fastened with epoxy.
    Note: Standard with finger grip handle. Single Finger Grip and Border Patrol handle shapes available at additional charge.
    Straight oblong hilt of 1/4″ brass. This knife was designed to meet the demand for an almost indestructible all-purpose knife, though it is especially suited for combat and survival purposes. With wrist thong through brass ferrule in handle.

    I don't think I'd go as far as indestructible, it is a good knife i have several randalls including a 14. They all fit and balance well but you can break them. Oh and the almost 5 year wait will scare alot of folks away. They are worth the money and the wait but many don't want to wait.

    They sell Randall made at the spyderco outlet so why would you have to wait

    For me because if I'm going to spend that much which I have several times, I want it set up a certain way, not what they decided to order and have in stock, there are so many personalized options for each model they make. They are currently limiting you to 5 options on an order, but it is a 50 dollar deposit, and they charge the rest when they get to you. If you like the one they have in stock by all means buy it, but look to see what your options are so you don't have buyers remorse later.
