Wellllll....I ended up getting a Millett DMS 1-4x24 at Jensen Arms this weekend. The boss told me that if I wanted to spend more than what they were asking on another scope, I'd have to wait an as yet undetermined period of time. I am ok with this because the scope has nice clear glass and will work for my purposes. And now, when the green light is given, I'll just get a better scope for longer distances.
