I own the homeland defender edition of the pt1911. The only issue I've had is hammer follow. It started just after 1000 rounds. The trigger was effin awesome but all good things must come to an end. It went back to Taurus for warranty work last week on their dime, they sent a call tag for it.

When it comes back it'll be off to gunsmoke for some real work. Overall though it's a good value for the money. Good enough for me to consider then buy the Taurus 4410.
