Now I have something to do with all those 175 pulls I bought.

I did this with a 208 AMAX. 11gr TrailBoss kept it nice and quiet. We hit a couple hogs at ~245-ish yards with it. Dialed up so much I thought we mortared them piggies.
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

    So you've duplicated a .40 Smith & Wesson?

Yup. And it is a 40 S&W that is accurate enough to hit an orange at 300 yards that you can not hear if you are more than 20-30 yards away. Or I can load the same bullet up to 2700 fps. Not many 40s will hold together at that velocity.

As far as I'm concerned, one needs no more justification than "it's fun".

I plugged in a 175 SMK into a ballistics calculator. Surprisingly, it only loses about 100 fps at 300 yards...

Put my two pounds of new Varget on the shelf in the Gun Cave! Big score at Cabela's in Thornton. I kept wiping my eyes, couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Killed my RCBS Chargemaster last night/this morning. I didnt use it that much all in all, but it was handy to have on the bench for small batches of stuff when I did not want to screw with my Prometheus.

Error code 02009. Called RCBS and it turns out it is a fatal error. Being more than a year old they told me I was SOL. No biggie. I get that. Electronics die and they dont make them. They just stick their label on them.

Time to get a new one from Brownells.

Same EXACT thing happened to mine two weeks ago. Same code, same answer from RCBS. I'm now using my 25yr old Lyman balance beam, no cord and the batteries never wear out.

I looked up error 02009 = programmed end of warranty failure mode.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.

Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

RCBS had said the same thing regarding my 750, SOL. Asked them how can a company that touts their products as being some of the best , tell me SOL? Guy said ok we'll send you a new one. Sure it's not the top of the line like your's, figure they'd at least offer a discount.
