Got my Redding body die and bumped the shoulders back on 195 rounds of .308 AMAX from my first attempt at batch reloading a few years ago that ended up not chambering in my Tikka. Taught me the value of a case gauge, too.

Found an adjustable height work bench that I'm going to convert into my reloading bench. I like that I'll be able to stand/sit depending on what I'm doing.

Started loading for the Dasher! Got a likely load developed and loaded some fireforming rounds too. Hope it shoots

    I have yet to see a 6 Dasher/SOCOM that wouldn't shoot well.

Decided to load some .308 to shoot a few rounds. Sprayed down some brass with lanolin to six. The second piece of brass is now stuck in the recapping die and it shattered the base plate on my 550. I thought the cases were very well lubed, even using my fingers to make sure it was on the neck. I guess I get to order a new shell plate and a stuck case remover kit.

Too much lube is as bad as none. You can use a drill sized for 1/4-20 tap to open primer pocket, take a 1.5 1/4-20 allen head and spacer to remove case.

Shoot the Dasher yet, Pedro? What bullet and powder?
