Sorted a partial bucket of COWW and SOWW, did not find much in the way of Fe or Zn weights.

Got any quick tips for sorting? I've got two 2/3+ full 5gal buckets to sort, and been dreading it. Anything to make excluding non-lead pieces would be appreciated.

LOL, I was using a pair of side cutters, if it nips easy it is good, if not it is steel or zinc. Stick on WW are either pure lead or steel.

there are a couple of YouTubes on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQlU3m-Nr5w

Now Im curious how many grains does it take to induce a squib with these powders, primers and bullets.
be careful of detonation if you're going to do extremely reduced loads.

I've never heard of detonation in a [normal] handgun caliber.

Got the PID controller setup on my Lee pot, and it is sweet, keeps the temp in 4 degree range and I know what the temp drops down to when I add lead now and when it is ready to cast again, no guess work any more and less culls

Cast and sized a pile of .358 170gr Keith Style SWCs

Next is a pile of .430 Keith Style SWCs
