Loaded a few hundred 6BR to fire form into Dasher. Can't believe how well the fireforming loads shoot with no load development

1:10 twist. I have tried h335, tac, imr4064, exterminator, imr4350 and I think it was h380. I ladder tested .5 from mid to max loads. He set the chamber for the 168s I had loaded. With the 168s, it shoots about 1/2 moa or better. I need to just order another thousand 168s now that they are back in stock.
8208XBR should be the powder you try next.
Some people swear by 335, i swear at it. Nothing i've loaded in 308 or 223/5.56 shot worth a damn with it. The XBR burns a tad slower than the 335 just under the AA2230 / Xterminator burn rate. BUT it's a/12 stick not full like Varget or Benchmark. Or the ball like what your using.
This is 6 rds @ 100 yds off a bipod. I don't know what the velocity is, i go for accuracy. This load did what i wanted so i run with it.
You might try a 175 sierras before dumping the 175 bullet.

I have a bunch of 150 sp loaded for a couple ar-10s with h335 that shoot great. I'll try and pick up a pound of 8208 today and give it a try. I have almost 400 bullets left. I have a friend with another ar-10 that lives 175s who may end up with an early birthday present.
Encore: RL15, BL-c2 and Varget are other good powders to try in 308. But as you know, sometime a rifle/bullet combo just never works out. On the other hand you buddy may be happy with his gift.
If your post count is higher than your round count, you are a troll.
Be careful what you ask for. I might show up in a tactical skirt. Prone shooting in the wind might be revealing...

Mmmmmmmm cookies. I am beginning to understand the Dasher hype. Can't wait until I start shooting full loads.!!!!!!
