Installed the sawge it and some other accessories on one of the 550's, I might swage some 223 in a few.

for the price of the swage it. You could have purchased a LEE APP deluxe press and swage dies. Which would have been more beneficial than the swageit. I have one and very happy with it.

You know i'm a dillon fan, very happy with the presses and customer service they offer. Since i no longer do the volume i use to on the 1050. For the price point, that lee was a good investment.

PLUS i don't run the chance of breaking the dillon, with a part they will not cover damage from.

I thought about it but most everything on the dillon part wise I can find on ebay or just order from dillon. The way the swage it system is set up I really don't view it as a risk of breaking anything on the 550 anyway. Plus I really don't have the space on the bench to mount another press to it so I would have to throw another $75 on an inline fab strong mount just so I can have an even more cramped bench. So using the second 550 I have made more sense for me.

scored some 150 gr hornady 30 cal fmj's a few weeks back. Decided to try out the trail boss "reduced recoil" loads. They call for 150 gr nosler bt's, but why not try the 150 fmj's i have. starting is the high side of 14 gr TB with a 2.800 OAL.

5 @ 50 to see where they papered, then the remaining 5 @ 100 yds. This way i see if there's any tumbling at either distance before i run them suppressed.

Out of my 1:12 20" LTR , off the bench. Outside of adjusting elevation, i think they'll do fine.

Sent back the sawge it, not a bad setup but the prep center I was waiting for finally came in at a good price so I ditched the sawge it.
Tumbling the last bit of 45 acp brass now and figured I would finish up inventory and maybe make a few sale ads.

Threw ~800 5.56 in the wet tumbler with just water and soap to clean the dirt off before they go through the case prep 1050. Pulled them out and rinsed them off and left them to dry.
