I really like the Dillon Super Swager. It is the next best thing to a 1050, IMO. Sized more .40 S&W and there is plenty more to be sized. I need powder and primers. I always need more powder and primers.
    Thank you.
I have never used a 1050, but have been thinking about asking Dillon if there is a way to set up a swager on a 550 or 650. I use the Super Swage now, but it is still time consuming. I currently have the 550 set up with two tool heads for the 223. The first is small base size and decap with the power trimmer. If they made a swager that replaced the primer bar and stayed stationary, it would save a lot of time. Then just switch back to the primer bar for loading. Once my carbide dies come in, I will be switching the 223 to the 650.

Nope. You need to support the inside of the case when swaging. Cant get there from here on a 550/650.

That's something I hadn't thought of. Thanks for clarifying.

Be safe out there. Don't party too much while you are on vacation either

FINALLY got the hornady 9mm bullet feed die working correctly on the 650. Need to pick up some tubing for a gravity feed unit and off to the races. If hornady ever comes out with the 223 die insanity will reign.

Loaded up 5 test rounds of .45ACP with my new Nosler 185gr Custom Competiton bullets. Last test batch would short stroke so I increased charge by .3gr and see how it's goes.

Didn't do anything in the reloading room today, but I DID go to BLGC and emptied out a lot of my reloads! Damn cold, windy and rainy out there.

    Texture on the walls.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?
