Sigh, found a replacement tool for my Lyman Small Primer Pocket Reamer. The Lyman tool is no longer sharp. Barely made it through 250-300 cases before it stopped cutting the brass. Filed a complaint/warranty/ticket with Lyman but I doubt I'll hear back from them.
The replacement is a simple countersink tool with 6 cutting edges. Should be more than perfect for what I need. Granted, this one is still manual though I might be able to find one that I could use in an electric drill.
Also tracking my 1k 55gr FMJ bullets about every 10min. Should be here on monday and I'll get to load up some test loads, then head to the range and test both 9mm and 223. The question is, what range do I test for accuracy on the 223? Is 50yds too close to see a real difference? They'll be shot through an AR with a red dot, though I'll probably use the irons for the testing.
With a P-dog Shoot close at hand, I needed to restock my 223 Varmint Loads so I ran 300 40gr NBT, 27gr Varget, & WSR through the press. After that it was time for the 6x45 (6mm/223 REM) 100 70gr NBT, 26gr Benchmark, & WSR.

Loaded up some 223 to shoot tomorrow. Apparently a few LC cases slipped through and made it onto the press for loading. Forgot how much I dislike crimped primer pockets.![]()
