Remind me, are you using the Thumler, or did you build one? How much can you do at once? I was under the impression it was only around 200 cases at a time... so 1900 pieces would take a while...
Was thinking about getting one, the low capacity was the main thing holding me back.

I've got an "Extreme Tumblers Rebel 17". It holds 4 pounds of brass per load. I've measured and 100 pieces of deprimed .223 weighs approximately 21.4 ounces... So I'm doing right at 300 pieces per load. I did 2 loads yesterday and another 4-1/2 loads today. It's sort of a pain in the rump, but seeing how shiny the brass comes out makes it worth it for me. I sat in front of the TV this evening and trimmed about 500 pieces. I wish I could stand to watch more TV because I'd probably get the trimming done quicker.

I still use my vibratory dry tumbler for removing the case lube after depriming and after final assembly of the loaded ammunition. I also sometimes use my dry tumbler on the fired brass just to get it cleaned up enough to run through the press to deprime.

I'm going to be stuck at my home office desk playing lawyer all day tomorrow so I'll probably try to tumble about 2000 pieces of .40 S&W throughout the day. I may be running simultaneous operations between the wet and dry systems because all I'm doing with the .40 is getting it clean enough to deprime. I've got the little Dillon (750?) dry tumbler and it doesn't seem to hold quite as much brass as the wet tumbler. I guess I really should look up the actual capacity in pounds now that I have an accurate scale.

    FWIW... Good night all!

Well I am now out of Retumbo. I loaded up the last of it charging up 49 300 RUM 210gr Berger VLD 91gr of Retumbo RP case Federal Mag primer. I used my new RCBS Summit press which is amazing. I am not happy with my RCBS dies. I am spoiled after using Redding.

Went out to load a few hundred 9mm, saw the wife had stolen my case feeder extension cord to heat her baby chicks. Shook head, walked back inside.

Was there bourbon involved between loading .300 RUM and shooting photos?
