Loaded up the last of my 6CM ammo for the Steel Safari killing another 8 lb jug of H-1000 in the process.
Also pointed up some Speer 125 TNT bullets for 300 Whisper/Blackout.

Is that the only difference? How much case capacity gain have you noticed from .243 to 6CM?
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.
Loaded my first rounds of 45acp.
I was amazed at the wide variety of loads from the reloading manuals I looked at. It's a pretty wide range, each one with a different OAL, some with a starting load pretty close to other manuals max load, etc. For AA5 powder, my Hornady manual shows a 230gr bullet, and 6.0 grains of AA5, with a max of 7.0 grains. While the Western Powder data shows a starting load of 7.1 grains and a max of 8.3 grains.
Out of 5 different sources, most of them seem have 7.0 grains as a lower end load with a velocity around 700fps. And excluding the Hornady manual, the rest show a max of 8.5-9.3 grains.
My test batch of ammo heads to the range tomorrow, I've got 4 different loads, all with the same OAL, same bullet, same powder, same primers, just different amounts of primer. I started at 7.0gr, and increase by .2gr up to 7.8gr All with an OAL of 1.265.
I'll be getting my 9mm loaded up tonight. The numbers for 9mm look much more consistant across the sources I'm looking at, so picking my workup numbers for those will be easier.
