Tumbled at least a couple hundred .223/5.56 cases and sorted out the LC headstamps. Now I have to actually de-prime and continue prep on them. I have a huge pile of the stuff now, so at some point, I'm going to have to actually prime and maybe even put some powder and bullets into these cases. They aren't any good to shoot until that happens, right?

Figured out that in order for 124gr flat point 9mm rounds to pass the plunk test, I have to load them to 1.069 OAL, which is a far cry from the 1.163 max. Little nervous about that, but I looked it up and other people have come to the same conclusion. This is for my CZ 75B.

Also, I totally stole another member's decorating idea.

Could not sleep well after 3:00 or so this morning.

Loaded up 350 rounds of 338 Lapua with Berger 300s and Retumbo and a bunch of 6 Grendel.

Headed to the range. Going to verify zeros out past a grand.

Loaded up the rest of my 5.56 brass and enjoyed my new garage speakers.

Its a good pistol round, fast and flat. I am glad I don't have to pay for it or reload it. If you want some nickel plated once fired .357 SIG brass, hit me up. I bag it but don't have any use for it.

Been saving any .357 sig I come across for you for a while now and meant to ask if you reloaded. Now I know.

I was setting up for some .223 rounds using mixed brass and 53gr Amax. after setting the bullet seating die, I went to pull the bullet from the case, and it took about 25 serious whacks with the inertial puller. That is a first. The brass was Radway Green (L17A2), and it took a bit more effort to size it also. What has been your experience with this brass, anyone? That was some serious neck tension! It still dropped right into the case gauge.

Thanks for the thought. I swap barrels and shoot .40 S&W from all of my semi-auto pistols. Much easier brass prep and my reloads feel pretty close to the .357 SIG from my perception.
