I do have a Bartlien 6.5mm blank on the shelf, but I have yet to push a reamer in it. Most likely 6.5 SAUM or 260 Ackley 30'.

Yup. 6.5 CM is what I am thinking. In a gas gun I bet the 6.5 Creedmore would be good. But I am so happy with my 6 Grendel I don't think I will every shoot anything out of an AR-10 other than 308.

I spoke with George Gardner at the Shoot For The Green match in Oklahoma a couple months ago. He was getting a 140 Hybrid to go 3120 fps in a 6.5 SAUM. I'm not sure how fast you can get a 130-140 gr going out of a 6.5CM. It'd be long enough that you might have problems in a semi. ..... 6.5 creedmoor is a solid round for a semi. I've thought about going full-R-Tard and seeing if a 6.5x47L will work in a semi. It might be too short, though.
