Try a lighter projectile like 125-130 grain range with the CFE. You should be able to get 3200 fps out of a 24" barrel....

I might even have some... In the trading post...

Or check out Hodgdons site for the cfe 223 load data. Looks like they show plenty of loads from 130 - 208 grain projectiles.

I have plenty of data, I was hoping someone has run the 168 cfe combo in a dpms ar10 and could help me avoid pitfalls. I've read a few stories about increased pressure due to over gassing. I've got a ladder loaded up, but range time is scarce for me, so others experience could be helpful.

Organized the bullet storage cabinet. Had to make room for the 168 gr. BTHP hornady 308 match bullets. Should have ordered 1k, instead of 500.

Oh well, the up side........... I can now sit closer to the presses

Wrapped up processing 21,000 40 S&W cases. Not a small project.

Also loaded up 300 rounds of 6CM with H-1000 and 115gn Sierra (DTAC) Matchkings.

What load did you settle on? Subsonic Whisper loads?
If the Odds are equal, you're doing it wrong

When you say whispers I'm assuming you mean supersonic? If that's the case then yes. I have it worked out to two different supersonic loads so I loaded 50 of each and going to see what happens.

Finished building the shelves for the bench I built last weekend out of a solid core door. More or less based off of the NRMA reloading bench plans. Door was 59$, and have a bout 70$ in the rest of it. Now to put some rails on for adjustable shelves and get the rest of the reloading supplies out of storage.

And I also loaded up 80 .243 58 gr VMax with 49 gr W760 for a friend. Here's a few before I got them all back in the boxes.
