Put together a ladder for my 338 edge. Going to send some projectiles down range this afternoon
I got the new shell plate on the 550 and got the stuck case out of the die. Loaded up 10 rounds of .308 to test, but didnt shoot with the 50-60mph winds. I did almost finish cutting the trees for my 200 yard range. Two or three more trees and I should be able to play on the new range.
Spent the past few days playing with my new AMP annealer.
Did a boatload of 300 Whisper/Blackout and about 400 pcs of 300 Win Mag.
Really impressed with this thing.
You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
and I'm crazy about my tea at night
Loaded and fired another 20 rounds of .308 with the Nosler 175gr rdf bullet. After about 20 different loads with 5 different powders, it will only print about a 1" group. Several groups were closer to 5". The gun loves 168gr nosler cc, but these 175s have been a nightmare. How many different loads do you give one bullet before you give up on it?
I had no luck precision wise with the SMK 175's .But you might try them instead of the noslers. If the load doesn't perform with a decent ladder, after trying what grouped best, i call it.
What twist barrel?

Loaded a few hundred 6BR to fire form into Dasher. Can't believe how well the fireforming loads shoot with no load development
