And old friend of mine dropped by the house last night. He wanted me to teach him how to reload on a 550 as he had only used a single stage.

Ended up loading about 250-300 rounds of 44 Special. Turns out I had never loaded 44 Special. Luckily, 44 mag dies work fine.

I have a 44 conversion for my 1050/1100s, but that would have blown his mind and he kinda wants a 550.

What load did you end up using? I’ve got a few hundred new .44 special cases I need to load up. I’ve got some powder coated 250 grain cast hollow points I will probably load.

A friend came over to load Dasher at my house. He's been reloading on a single stage press, and I've been regaling him with tales of loading precision ammo at a rate of 2-3 rounds a minute on my Dillon 550. While there, he spotted my 650 and 1050 as well as my Auto Trickler. I'm pretty sure that visit is going to cost him roughly $4K.

It's pretty amazing how the 1050's sell themselves...

Two guys that I have shown my 1050's to have then gone on to buy their own.

Ha! On a side note, the connection to the target flashers is AUDIO, not bluetooth.

Have 1k of 145 coated 9mm projectiles sitting here. Guy i got them from, along with 2k of 155 p/c'd , asked if i tried sport pistol ? Lots of load data for coated bullets, sold me 3 pounds of it. I'll finish the 145's this weekend, 500 loaded as of this morning. They shoot fairly soft w/ 3.5 gr SP, see how they do suppressed tomorrow.
