Default Browning BuckMark & Tactical Solutions

I purchased 3 items for my Buckmark from Tactical Solutions. A 4" threaded barrel, a fiber-optic front-sight, and an integral rail.

Installed them all at the same time.

Now the pistol shoots about 10" high @ ~7yds.

I had been blaming the front-sight, but it's the same height as my original sight. I've got the rear-sight cranked down as far as it will go.

I stuck a red-dot on it and it shoots great, so I don't really think the barrel is pointing at a funky angle.

    Any thoughts?

Call TacSol and ask them. I bet your rear sight is too high...

I've been corresponding via e-mail with Haley from TacSol Customer Service.

She's extremely pleasant, but as the administrative assistant she's really not in a position to diagnose the problem. She offered to exchange the front-sight for a higher one, but I really don't think that's the issue.

I'm surprised no one else has encountered this problem.

I'd been hesitant to re-install my original rear-sight.

The rail-screws kept backing-out, so I "secured" them with blue Loctite.

    Or so I thought...

I see the forward of the two screws is loose again.

    :-(
