I have carried the onion leeks for a long time, not too long ago went to the shallot to change things up. A bit heavier, sturdier feeling but the blade shape lends more to cutting then penetration.....still makes a good tool though.

But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.

Woot has the Kershaw Cryo for $18.99. I had to pick one up for that price.

Got it over the weekend-a few issues which I think I addressed and hopefully resolved. Appearance and finish good out of the box, super sharp.
Issues-pivot was so tight it wouldn't open(loosening it up to work affected the blade alignment big time) Frame lock takes 2 hands to function.
Flipper is working much better now and able to tighten up pivot which improved the blade alignment (break in I guess). Frame lock is still a lot harder to operate than it should be. Conclusion:$40 knife made in China-I suppose it could have been a lot worse.

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

The last year I have carried nothing other than a Benchmade Griptillian, Gerber folding box knife (for those jobs where I don't care about the blade edge and I just need to cut stuff), and a Fenix LD12. Haven't needed to change it up. I love carrying a utility knife alongside my regular blade.

Kershaw/Emerson CQC-7 or Ontario Knives RAT-2. I'm all about inexpensive blades that function properly. I figure I'd rather spend my extra money on more ammo.
