    Default MK III target first outing

    Well took the wife and went to the range today to shoot the MK III and all I can say is WOW! Put a MK II hammer in, removed the spring that keeps tension on the mag, installed a extended mag release and put a Majestic speed strip kit on as well. Got it for the wife (not really) and se was shooting 10 shots in a 1" to 1.5 groups at 21 feet! Not a single FTF or FTE and we ran about 450 rounds thru it.

    Where can I find a Ruger MK III :-)? I have been looking to buy a MK II or III.

    They have 6+ 22/45's at Centennial Gun Club and 1 MKIII.... This was on Wed night

    Jensen arms had a few last week. I am going there tomorrow to see what they have left. Will post results.

    Slapps, could we meet at a range sometime? I'd love to see the difference those mods made.

    Sure. Wife and I will be at the range this Saturday. I polished all of the trigger parts last night and it feels really good. PM me and I will let you know when and where.
