2008 Hunting Season

Only 2 months before Dove season starts, and only 6 weeks before Archery Speed Goats starts. I'm getting pumped already for big game rifle season and hope to fill the freezer this year. What do you say we start a scouting report here on the CoAR?

I did some scouting two weeks ago over by the Grand Mesa and saw some nice looking elk where I will be rifle hunting and a real good amount of deer too. I need to go out and scout my Muzzleloader spot here soon. I will bring the camera along with me and post some pics if I see anything.

Can't wait for the seasons to start. Doves, Elk, Deer, Antelope, ducks, and geese!!!!!

I picked up my over-the-counter elk and bear permits on Monday (or was it Tuesday?). Either way, I'm all set for Second Season Rifle.

I just need to get out and scout and shoot more too.
