Don't know if you guys have seen this site, but go to qsl.fm , it has repeaters by state.

Also as an update, has anyone given any thought about March 24th for a meeting?

How realistic would it be to have a station at home, then a mobile set-up in your vehicle?

QSL isn't always accurate though, I believe it relies on the clubs to update them with any changes. Best to hit the local ham club wesites and pick up their listings.

CCARC is a great source too - they manage the frequencies in the state.

They also have an updates PDF of the state repeaters:

    examples...

    Aurora Repeater Assoc
    Rocky Mountain Radio League
    Boulder Radio Club
    Denver Radio Club

I have a 2m mobile mounted in my jeep, a handheld ham radio, and then a 2m radio at home for use here, so pretty easily. Now some guys have the bigger base station radios that cover alot more frequencies at home, and one in their vehicle too. Not sure what kind of radios you would like to run, but there's nothing keeping you from multiple stations, except your wallet. In the case of a ham license, it goes with the user, not any one station. Hopefully that helps?

It does help, thank you. Could you use your mobile to communicate with someone in your vehicle?

Yep. My wife, who has her license as well, routinely talks to me, as I drive home from work at night. She uses the radio at home, or her hand held, and I use the radio in the jeep. All one has to do is dial in to the same repeater on both radios, or if close enough or where terrain permits, the same frequency for direct(simplex) communications. If colorado connections or colorado repeater association has their uplink working, I could turn it on right now and hit you on the radio.

That page shows 145.160 is back up. I threw my antenna on my pick up this morning. I think 145.160 is programmed into my radio still. I'll try it on the way home tonight.
The 24th sounds good to me.I should be free that day,but depending on finances I don't know if I will be able to make it (still waiting on start day for work)

Does anybody have a link to the local repeater freqs. so I can try and reprogram my 2m?
