Angry So called hunters like this tick me off

This person's actions are just utterly wrong and give hunters a bad name.

What is almost as bad is what some of the anti-hunters think and post in response.

I trophy hunt untill I find the first "LEGAL" animal I can shoot. Horns make piss poor soup but to each their own. I will not lie and say I would not like to take a trophy but if that requires a guide or a BS game ranch you can keep your so called trophy.

If I go home empty handed so be it but atleast I "HUNTED" instead of just shooting something.

Gee maybe next week the Denver Zoo will give out trophy tags.......That is how I view game ranches.

That A$$hole can rot in hell I hope bubba is real nice to him.

I recieve the DOW Insider newsletter and recieved the basic story straight from them about this CRIMINAL. While the Denver Post story has a lot more information/background on this guy, both sources indicated that the CO and NM departments of wildlife have been investigating, watching, and documenting his actions for some time. Sadly, I'm willing to bet that he only pled guilty to keep them from digging deeper and finding more crimes he's guilty of.

Every time I go out hunting I second guess all of my actions to make sure I stay on the right side of the law - as well as ensure that I make the most ethical choices I possibly can. It's guys like this that would come up with multiple hunters and steal your kill - claiming HE made the kill, not you! (This has happened to afew of my hunting partners!)

Too bad he didn't get more jail time!

Whats the point of that kind of hunting? I agree with HunterCO. If your only worried about putting antlers on the wall, go buy a shoulder mount and pick up some meat at the butcher shop
