    Way too easy to hit.

Good point. Though, I did run across a couple of guys who'd had them threaded as a custom job. It ain't easy though. Hi Desert Dog used to (?) sell one pre-threaded but I don't know that they do it any more.

That's valid. There is a strong temptation to hit that button when handling it for the first time. It is in the area where it might be a safety so, *depress* and there goes the mag!

I have a stainless 6" one and have owned it for about 4 years now. I sent it to Beretta for the safety recall after the firing pin came flying out of it. After waiting a few months to get it back, they sent it back to me assembled wrong. I took it to BPTactical for a tune up and reassembly, can't wait to shoot it again.
Cool little pistol. My wife gave it to me for my Birthday present.

They can be threaded, it is not rocket surgery.

Great to know! I hadn't really considered going down that road, but if that's a service you do, it's good to know!

i have a 7" with Blue and balck grips. I have a decent red dot on it and love the hell out of it. I lost an extractor once and beretta replaced it for free. It just popped out somehow. It is one of my favorites. I definitely would be interested in threading it.

I was referring to the carbine.

6"all black here, about a year old & shoots anything you throw at it. Accurate as hell out of the box (so far). Popping clays a couple weeks ago at 20-25 yds no problem. Best part is taking it down while my buddy is cussing out his awesome Ruger while he is taking it down. Mine is clean and back together before he gets his appart! Will be a great first pistol for my boy in a few years as well.

Fantastic feedback. I just sent my 6" in to get serviced for the recall finally. Ironically the UPS guy doing the pick-up was also dropping off a new firing pin spring, slide spring, and barrel nut spring that I finally got around to ordering from Brownell's. Gun goes out, parts come in. D'oh! Good thing I have my brand spanking new 4.5" and carbine kit still!
