Shot this one on a night hunt in Texas. 5.56 AR, Federal 55 gr soft point, estimated 300 pounds. One shot behind the shoulder at 10 yards. The brute charged my tree stand and went down after about a hundred yards.

You want to be a martyr, I want to make you one.
Very nice!
How much penetration did you get?
But, but, but we were told no one hunts with these types of assault weapons.
Nicely done. Bacon, pulled pork shoulder, chops, ham, mmm thats good eating.
Armageddon was yesterday, today we have a real problem.

Oh yeah. And dont forget that the 5.56 is too light for anything other than fruit flies. The internet said so.

Thank goodness the 2A only applies to hunting and sport shooting.

NO RANGE FOR YOU!!!.....NEXT!!!
Nice pig, good eats there. Nice shot on that too, I just wouldn't trust a 5.56 for it myself. I know my luck and I'd end up gored by a pig with 3 in the heart as his last gasp of breath was shredding my legs with tusks. Plus, for every hunter that shoots correctly like this there's several more that hunt like the video in the Texas pig hunt thread, and I just wouldn't hunt that way.
