Default Time to recall Angela Giron.

The anger I am seeing here in Pueblo this morning over the votes yesterday is amazing. The talk about a recall of Giron is loud. Has anyone heard of anyone actually starting the proceedings yet? Has anyone filed or is anyone planning to file a petition with the Colorado Secretary of State that we are aware of? I am thinking of starting one myself but do not want to step on any toes.

These folks are getting some recall efforts organized. http://www.coloradoaccountability.com/cms/

It would be best to consolidate our efforts, or at the very least get some advice from them as to how to proceed. Don't let fear of stepping on anyone's toes stop you from acting.

No need to fear stepping on toes. Just move forward and understand that the people of Colorado do NOT support what our government is doing. Republicans, Democrats, and independent voters are all irate about this.

The Giron recall is now in the signature collection phase. I know a number of people who live in District 3 (it includes Pueblo West) who are anxious to sign. They need at least 11,500 valid signatures by 10 June. The folks coordinating the recall have set up this website:

    http://www.pueblofreedomandrights.org/site/

Giron was elected in 2010 by the following margin:

    Giron (D) 54.8% (22,834)
    Ortegon (R) 45.1% (18,814)
There are 10 types of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

+1. We must all work together to clean up our own house.
