Unless, of course, that was amended. In addition, if you and a buddy are at a shooting range or out shooting, and you walk away after letting him shoot it and it's in his "care", you have both committed an illegal transfer. The 72 hours care doesn't work in said example with the way the law is written and can be read.

What pisses me off so much is CBI is getting funding from CO as it is and they have been offering the Brady check all this time, but now we have to pay. Did you know the same bill prohibits FFL's from charging more than $10 for the service (It's a 15 to 35 minute ordeal), but CBI can charge whatever they deem as "necessary". The reps I have talked to at CBI says it is going up to a minimum of $25 next year.

Also, show us where it says nieces, nephews, first cousins, aunts, and uncles. The bill I read said immediate family was spouses, children, and grandchildren.

Charging for a mandatory Brady check has made this a sin tax.

You have to keep up with the latest version. They changed the language in this section between the rerevised (5th) version and the signed version to alllow loans beyond 72 hours to immediate family, and I just noticed that last week.

I'll continue to do what I have always done. Doesn't matter what these liberals write down.

Ok, sweet. That's for the transfers/background checks. Good to know. It's still bullshit, it's just not quite as soggy...but that's like saying an old person doesn't make your balls look as wrinkled.

1229 is the most important bill to fight, IMHO, it is the one that makes criminals out of us all
