Default Difference between ADL, BDL, SPS on R700?

Is there a difference in the action and bolt between the various Remington 700 models? Say all I wanted was the action and bolt, knowing I was going to build it up in a month or so, what are the differences in the action and bolt of the various models? Are there different mounting lugs for stocks, scope base, etc.? Am I over thinking this?

A friend is doing this right now. He just bought a cheapie from Sportsmans for $450 new. I'm 99% sure the actions are all the same. Triggers vary, so watch that.

Yep, plan on replacing the trigger.

Since a .243 has the parent case of a .308, can I get either and then have it re-barreled when the time comes?

.243 to start, probably. I 'have' a .308 (Larue on order, lower in hand).

The .243 Remington 700 is now in hand. $440 out the door. It even has a scope on it! <---sarcasm.
