Foundations down fall was they had very very little invintory, pretty much they had to order everything. They had the best prices pretty sure thats why they lasted so long. Sucks that they are closing, I guess were stuck with liberty.

Foundation has been open for approx 20 years. It was foundation pawn and approx 5 years ago they stopped doing the pawn shop and went to only guns. If you ever drove up hwy34 I dont know how you could miss all the gun signs and banners out front.
With this info and looking at it's location in Google Maps, I knew there was a pawn shop on that corner but I guess I never noticed that it had gone full firearms. To my previous post, whatever they were doing for marketing wasn't working if their primary demographic had no idea.
Word on the street is Machine Gun Tours in Lakewood is closing up and moving out of state.

Just saw a guy holding a sign on HWY 34 by Centerra that JAX was closing. "Up to 50% off."
That is a huge bummer. I have bought, sold and transferred guns at the store for many years. They had great prices and the lowest transfer fee's around. I remember speaking to the owner a few months back and he was trying to figure out a way to still stay open with all the BS. Guess he figured it wasn't worth it in the end.
