Vollmer's guns are pushpins. Therefore I would have to buy a new MP5 and would not have the option of swapping a sear between hosts.Quote:

Besides, I thought an UZI guy would be happy about me getting a Vector. Victor. [pirate]

Oy! No wonder people are tempted to make their own. With even basic tools that could be whipped out in a few hours. Of course the risk to a whole host of rights has to be considered. Seems for most of us here that risk looks far too big to take.Quote:

Making one would be pretty easy, especially compared to the amount of work I will do to pay for a registered one. But the price of getting caught is very steep. My dad's friend's bother got caught with an unregistered AK back in the late eighties and got 18 months in Club Fed for having it. He ended up doing about 6 months but then had a felony conviction and could never own a gun again.Quote:

I think our best chance of getting any new MG's on the market would be for the Attorney General to declare a 30-90 day amnesty. The law was set up so that he could easily do so on his own without congress's approval. The question is, how do we motivate him to do so? The last amnesty was a 30 day amnesty back in 1968. Please correct me if I am wrong but durring an amnesty I think we would be able to file From 1's and make our own MG's.
If I remember right, and, I'm sure Karl will be along shortlyand correct Me if I'm not. :P The '68 amnesty was more for Gramps that brought back a MP44 from WWII than anything else I'm sure Karl can Give You the complete rundown though. [poke]
Karl won't be coming along anytime soon he just called me and is broke down on the side of the road west of the springs. His tranny finally went to hell. He is not haveing a good week to say the least. :evil:Quote:
