In 223?

DO IT!!! A 223 R700 in an XLR with a good MIL/MIL scope would be sweet. Then you can have some fun laying on the pavement while slinging lead with us at CRC.

Myself, I'd have a bolt gun. The BCG slamming around in an AR just makes it that much harder to spot your hits or misses.
Do a R700 in .233 or better yet, .300 BLK.
I was able to get 1.3 MOA at 600 yards with the TTSX in 300 BO. Took some effort. A 6 or 6.5 mm on the .223 case is easier.
I forgot you were wanting to shoot to 500. I just assumed it can be done accurately. It's really the appeal of also being able to shoot subs suppressed that made me mention it. It's very quiet in a bolt gun. If .300BLK proves inaccurate at SS velocities, then I think .223 is about ideal. Cheap to shoot, and superb accuracy with the right bullet/barrel.
So, now I'm leaning toward a bolt gun.
Every time I see this one it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Anyone want to help me guess what the barrel length is on this one?
