All the points you made are good and valid and the hope is that he has been listening to/acting upon all that has been said to him.

I'm a fan of the Hornady rapid RFID safes. They all have passcode and RFID access.
Hornady has several options for RFID fobs (watch band, bracelet, keychain) or you can clone the Hornady fobs and create your own. For example a RFID ring...
Alright.
With a stalker scenario, the most important thing is to make sure ALL the doors and windows are ALWAYS secure. Glass sliding doors, garden level windows, and window mounted AC units are the weakest points typically exploited by burglars, but stalkers often try kicking down the front door which needs to be hardened up (extended deadbolt, extended kickplate screws, FOX Lock style brace). If they have dogs, that's a lot better. Even a small dog will bark at a potential intrusion attempt.
I'd recommend constant pocket carry of something small for instant access. Larger guns can be locked up. Something as simple as a lock on the bedroom door can work, or hiding a handgun (chamber empty) high up where kids can't reach and are unlikely to look.
