Best 200yd target rimfire

I am by no means an experienced paper puncher and the other day I shot a 5 shot group that could covered with a quarter at 100yds with my 17HMR. But there was little to no wind. Wind does move them a lot.

Shooting the 17 at 50 yards is big time BORING. Way too easy.

Here were some 5 shot groups right out of the box:
I was shooting Hornady .17 HMR 17 Gr. VMax's at first then ran out and started using Remington 17gr boat tails.

The best group of 5 I got at 100yards was .993" or .800" center to center.
The best group of 5 I got at 50 yards was .580" or .398" center to center.

I had an Anschutz 64R Biathlon (22lr) for a while, that thing was SWEET!
(Got it from Neal J Gunsmith in the Springs)
Great trigger and shot awesome. Beware, is you shoot one you WILL get spoiled on the trigger. Sold it to get my K8 Mag though.

I think what I'm hearing is that I should just stick with my 10/22 22LR.

OK, 200yds is out. 50yds or less.

The CMP is out of 40X's and I really do want a repeater even if I have to sacrifice some potential accuracy. 10rd magazines would be a real bonus.

Any pointers as far as "good, better, best"?
