It was a good muzzleloader season for me. I just got back from southeast Kansas. I killed 1 buck and 2 does.

That's a nice rack on that White Tail. Congratulations. How far of a shot was that taken at? Looks like you would have to take shots from a lot further out there.
That's what he said. Sorry had too. It was around 110 yards. We saw some monsters but out of range for my comfort level with a muzzleloader.
We ran into a guy who had a pretty neat sling for his muzzleloader. It was basically just two loops that supported the barrel and the stock, and could be held hands free and horizontal. The back loop was loose, so it would just slide off the back when the gun was shouldered. It looked like a pretty neat idea, but when we asked where he got it, he said a buddy had gotten it for him so he didn't know. Also, his gun was a newer flint lock and was impressively light.
Anyway, anyone familiar with that kind of sling?
