Also you have to look at Trumps family members. He imposes tariffs, his family places "puts" of stocks and they pay off the Trump Tower in Manhattan from the profits. And the Supreme Court approves because they a have an interest in this action too. "Puts" are futures where you say the stock price will fall. Watch the DJIA chart of the last few months...

In 2021 there were 270,000 non-citizens with social security numbers.
In 2024 there were 2.1M non-citizens with social security numbers.
SSA was automatically mailing numbers to anyone who submitted a Form 765 Application for Employment. No interview or ID needed. The Biden admin also changed the policy so that expired Employment documents would automatically extend for 540 days.
DOGE discovered that the system defualts within the SSA were set to give these people max benefits and minimum collection, including Medicaid. 1.3M of these non-citizens are receiving Medicaid benefits and paying little or nothing. 5M non-citizens are receiving some sort of benefits.
And they discovered that some of these SS# carrying non-citizens have indeed voted.
It's shocking to me anyone thinks DOGE isn't doing good work.

Total bs. Everyone with a valid work visa gets a ssn, for tax purposes. These ssn are flagged in the system as ??non citizen?? and cannot collect benefits? It has been like that for at least 30 years. ??IF?? SSN were issued for non qualified immigrants, they would have the same flag.Quote:

Non citizens should not get a SSN with the same format as citizen to avoid confusion. Instead of 9 numbers, they should have 7 numbers and 2 letters.Quote:

It's simply that every $1 saved justifies an extra $1.25 - $1.50 in spending for Trump. That's all DOGE was to him, a headline-generating placation, giving justification to spend more.
Similar to how the ~ 180 billion in tariff revenue has about a trillion dollars in promised spending by POTUS. Everything from $500 billion in stimulus checks, to farmer bailouts, shutdown coverages, bonuses, and more, all promised against the paltry ~180 Billion.
I will say, I think Elon took it seriously, to his credit, and once he figured the facade out, he was out.
It's too bad we don't have a conservative in office and haven't for an eon.
