    You could legally put one on a magazine that was over the limit and grandfathered, or under the limit and remains that way even after the extension. Adding the extension that bumped you over 15 rounds after the fact would be prohibited as you didn't possess a high capacity magazine on the date the law taking effect.

    Mag extensions will only be disallowed if they would bring a magazine from less than 15 rounds to over 15 rounds.

    Alright, I understand a bit better now. So the sale of a mag extension may, or may not be legal with no way to tell. So many fucking holes in this shit it's completely ridiculous. I know, I know. Preaching to the choir.
